What are Chests?

Chests are rewards granted as part of the PokerStars Rewards loyalty program.

How do I get a Chest?

When you play real money poker games, you earn reward points that fill a progress bar.

Each time you complete a progress bar:

• You unlock a Chest
• You receive rewards inside the Chest

Higher Chest levels offer more valuable rewards.

 

What happens after I unlock a Chest?

When you unlock a Chest:

• It becomes available immediately
• A new progress bar starts automatically

The new progress bar fills as you continue playing.

 

Open and manage your Chests

How do I open my unlocked Chests?

Go to:
Promotions & Rewards → My Rewards → Chests

You can open your Chests and use your rewards immediately.

 

When can I open my unlocked Chests?

You can open your Chests:

• Immediately after unlocking
• Before, during, or after your session

 

How long are Chests valid?

Unlocked Chests remain available for 30 calendar days.

• Expired Chests cannot be recovered=

 

What Chest levels are there as part of PokerStars Rewards?

• There are six Chest levels, ranked from lowest to highest: Blue → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Diamond → Black
• The higher your Chest level, the more valuable the rewards.
• To upgrade or level up, you need to fulfill certain Chest-earning requirements, as explained below.

What Chest levels are available?

There are six levels, from lowest to highest:

Blue → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Diamond → Black

Higher levels offer more valuable rewards.

 

How do Chest levels work?

Your Chest level depends on how many Chests you earn in a rolling 28-day period.

• Upgrade: Earn 5 Chests within 28 days
• Maintain: Earn at least 1 Chest
• Downgrade: Earn 0 Chests

As you level up:

• More reward points are required
• Rewards become more valuable

Where can I see my current Chest level?

Go to:
Promotions & Rewards → PokerStars Rewards

This shows:

• Your current Chest level
• Your progress bar
• A forecast of your next Chest

 

Can I downgrade my Chest level? (Exchange Feature)

Yes. The Exchange Feature allows you to swap your current progress for a lower-level Chest.

Key details:

• You receive a smaller Chest immediately
• Your progress resets to a lower level
• Useful if your current target is difficult to reach

The feature appears in PokerStars Rewards when available.

It is offered at our discretion for levels above Blue.

 

Different types of Chests

Are there Chests outside PokerStars Rewards?

Yes. There are two main types of Chests:

• PokerStars Rewards Chests (loyalty-based)
• Promotional Chests (from offers and Challenges)

 

How do promotional Chests work?

Promotional Chests:

• Are granted as part of specific offers
• Follow their own rules and expiry dates
• May be used for prizes or Challenges

 

What do padlock and hourglass icons mean?

These indicators appear on some promotional Chests:

• Green padlock: Chest is unlocked and ready to open
• Yellow hourglass: Chest is locked and shows when it will unlock
