Introducing Ace Chase, a new PokerStars cash game promotion where you could win cash prizes by winning hands holding an ace.

Ace Chase – PokerStars’ newest cash game innovation, rewarding hands won with an ace in the hole – just got even more exciting.

There’s a new mission for Ace Chasers and cash game players in general: We need you to become our ‘Sleeper Agents’ and beat a host of PokerStars Ambassadors, live on their streams.

PokerStars will stake you in the 90-minute cash game, and if you beat the Ambassadors, you’ll not only earn legend status, but you’ll also keep all your winnings (plus there’s a cash bonus for the player who wins the most hands with an ace at showdown!).

Players can qualify to be a Sleeper Agent via Ace Chase (keep reading for more info on how it works). All you have to do is play cash games and win as many hands as you can when you hold an ace.

Two cash game missions will take place over the next two weeks, and the winners of those missions will become Sleeper Agents. That means they’ll battle in cash games with Ambassadors Spraggy, Marle Spragg, Nick Walsh, Seb Huber, Felipe Phil, and guest streamer Joe Bold, who will stream the Ace Chase Mission cash game simultaneously across their individual Twitch channels.

WHEN ARE THE MISSIONS?

• Mission 1 – November 6
• Mission 2 – November 21

Blinds: $1.50 / $3 ($0.50 ante)
Sleeper Agent stake: $1,000 cash credit
Bonus: $1,000 cash bonus for the player who wins the most hands holding an ace at showdown

HOW TO BECOME A SLEEPER AGENT

If you want to become a Sleeper Agent and battle the pros in the Ace Chase Missions, here are the qualification mechanics:

• Players must opt in to Ace Chase on PokerStars
• Win four hands with an ace at cash tables
• Each hand gives you a random score for the daily leader board
• The top 5 scores each day get entered into a random Sleeper Agent draw

NOTE: You must be a subscriber of an Ambassador’s Twitch channel for a minimum of three months.

Once you’ve won your four hands with an ace and received your score, head to Spraggy’s Discord channel and submit your PokerStars username.

PokerStars will then take those usernames and grab the five highest finishers on the leader board across the three days.

There will then be a random draw from the top 15, and the winner will be messaged on Discord.

HOW ACE CHASE WORKS

Dates: Running until November 30
Stakes: $0.05 – $2 big blind
Markets: BS, CH, COM, EE, EU, RO, BETFAIR UK, COM

It’s always great having an ace in your hand, but in Ace Chase, it’s crucial to success.

If you manage to win a hand when holding an ace, you will secure one target. Players must secure four targets (ie, win four hands holding an ace) in one day to receive a random score between 1 and 10, and that will go towards your position on a daily $3,000 leader board.

You can have three attempts at getting the best total leader board score per day (one attempt = winning four hands with an ace).

There’s $500 up top every single day, so it’s well worth going for!

And it means you’ve got to make every ace count. 

We’re not saying you should play with reckless abandon – that’s a great way of blowing through your bankroll. But you should certainly put up a fight if you want to get your name high on the daily leader boards.

THE ORIGINAL ACE CHASE

You grab some chips from your stack and give them a quick shuffle before noticing the dealer is almost ready to pitch cards your way. The first of your two hole cards lands in front of you. Usually you’d wait until it’s your turn to act, but this time you can’t resist taking a quick peek as the dealer works their way around the table. You grip the card with one hand, shield it from view with the other, and slowly peel it up.

It’s an ace.
