When it comes to online poker, few series carry the same weight and prestige as the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP).

Since its launch on PokerStars in 2002, the WCOOP has become the ultimate proving ground for the best players in the game. With buy-ins ranging from small stakes to nosebleed high rollers, the series attracts thousands of grinders, recreational players, and the biggest names in poker, all chasing one of the most coveted prizes in online poker: a WCOOP title.

Over the years, a handful of elite players have separated themselves from the pack, amassing multiple championships across a variety of variants—from no limit hold’em and pot limit omaha to mixed games like HORSE and badugi.

So, who are the players with the most WCOOP titles, and how did they build their legacies? Let’s take a look.

BENNY “RUNGODLIKE” GLASER – 16 TITLES

Benny Glaser leads the way

Benny “RunGodlike” Glaser took down the prestigious $50K Poker Players Championship at the 2026 WSOP, proving beyond any shadow of a doubt that he’s one of the all-time greats. No surprise, then, that he’s the greatest WCOOP player in history with 16 victories.

Almost half of those wins came in 2023 alone when Glaser went on a tear, winning an unprecedented seven titles in one series.

DENIS “ADRENALIN710” STREBKOV – 14 TITLES

Denis Strebkov: formerly the WCOOP’s leading light

Denis “aDrENalin710” Strebkov was the king of WCOOP for years, holding the most titles and the record for the most won in a single series (five in 2018). Benny Glaser has now smashed both those records, but Strebkov remains a force, picking up his 13th and 14th titles last year.

The Thailand-based Russian always shows up for WCOOP. Keep an eye out.

Undoubtedly one of the most respected and successful players out there, Patrick “pads1161” Leonard’s WCOOP resume reads exactly how you’d expect. It’s consistent. It’s prolific. And it’s diverse, both in terms of poker variants and buy-in levels.

Heading into the 2026 WCOOP, Pads is the all-time greatest COOP player ever, with 13 WCOOPs and 16 SCOOPs.

TOBIAS “SENKEL92” LEKNES – 13 TITLES

One of the most decorated WCOOP players around, Tobias Leknes

Norwegian mixed games master Tobias “senkel92” Leknes is only two wins behind Glaser and was the all-time leader heading into the 2023 series with 12 (who could have predicted Glaser’s seven-win series?). Leknes won three WCOOP titles in 2022, and then another hat trick the year after, with three SCOOP victories in between. He added his 13th title in 2024.

His victories across all series come in every form of poker.

Vieira is always a threat

Joining Leknes on 13 wins is Portuguese superstar Joao “Naza114” Vieira–widely considered one of the best all-round players in the modern game. 

Vieira had a hat trick of wins in 2024, a feat he’d already accomplished twice before (2019 and 2022). He came very close in 2025, finishing runner-up multiple times.

NIKLAS “LENA900” ASTEDT – 12 TITLES

Niklas Astedt never ceases to amaze

Just when you thought there’s nothing more that Niklas “Lena900” Astedt could do to prove he’s one of the greatest tournament players of all time, the Swede went and final tabled the WSOP Main Event and followed it up with four WCOOP titles in 2024.

He was online poker’s biggest money winner with more than $50 million in cashes before tracked records were taken offline. He plays all of the games excellently, and you’d be a fool to bet against him winning events in any series.
