Marle comes from a poker family, so it’s no surprise she’s one of the most formidable players in the world. The game is deeply ingrained in her and has been for a long time.
Born Marle Cordeiro in Boston, Massachusetts, her Dad was a full-time, professional poker player, so she has always been around the game watching her Dad on his journey. As a result, Marle played a lot for fun, developing her own skills along the way, as well as the pointers she’d learned from her Dad. But it wasn’t until she moved to Las Vegas where she started getting serious about poker.
And the results were almost instantaneous. Marle turned pro in 2013 and managed consecutive cash finishes in her first three live tournaments. After a break from the game, she returned stronger than ever to rack up cash after cash in live events around the world, including at the World Series of Poker.
Of course, Marle is no stranger to going deep in PokerStars Live events, too, as she’s the proud owner of two PokerStars Spades. Plus, aside from winning the Women’s event at Monte-Carlo on the European Poker Tour (EPT), she managed her biggest cash finish at EPT Prague in 2023, securing 8th place and €123,600 in prize money. Overall, she boasts more than $472,000 in live tournament earnings.
As well as being a power player on the felt, she’s part of one of poker’s most famous power couples off it, tying the knot with Ben “Spraggy” Spragg in 2021. Marle is also a very popular Twitch streamer, and you can join her 14,700+ followers and watch her taking down big pots and talking strategy on her channel.
Marle plays online poker exclusively at PokerStars, where she plays under the username ‘Marlztv’.
