The well-named BARASSI (12) is a late bloomer who didn't get to the races until he was a five-year-old but has shown plenty of ability since. Won the rich maiden race during the Magic Millions carnival here and has revved up for this with two recent trials. Great chance to return a winner. REDFORD (4) hasn't put a hoof wrong winning all three starts to date and looks to have a load of upside. Can continue on his winning ways. MIDORI BEAUTY (1) returned in fine fashion with a fast-finishing Doomben victory and will have come on with that run under the belt. Top-three aspirations. The consistent ROMEO'S CHOICE (5) will strip fitter second-up from the spell and rarely puts in a poor one. Has to be considered. CATWALK CRIMINAL (8) next best.
