SMART ACTION (4) won a nice race at Doomben over a mile in his penultimate start and then did not have all favours from a wide draw when finishing fifth at Eagle Farm last week. He has a more suitable gate this time and will also find this much easier. On top. SHARP DAZZLER (1) somehow managed to settle 3 wide from a handy gate at Doomben 2 weeks ago and failed to run on. He also blew hard after the run which suggests that he needed the run as well. He can make amends in this. GOOGAZ (7) has raced his way back into form and gave a good sight in front when finishing third at Beaudesert last time out. The step up to a middle distance is ideal and he would not be a shock winner. THE CLAIMANT (5) enjoyed getting out to a middle distance here last week and posted an easy win. Stick with him.
