The full rundown of EPT Barcelona activities, with multiple parties, a karaoke night, wine tasting, a quiz and more

Wherever the European Poker Tour goes, there’s plenty of fun to be had off the felt. But it’s especially good in Barcelona, where the party vibes are strong (the casino is right beside the beach!) and the local food and drink is exceptional.

This time, players and their guests can enjoy karaoke, games nights, wine tastings, and daily wellness classes.

Of course, it wouldn’t be the EPT without an incredible Players Party too, and Barcelona’s is always one of the best.

KARAOKE NIGHT

August 17, 19:00-22:00
La Taverna – Players’ Lounge

Join us in La Taverna (aka the Players’ Lounge) for an unforgettable Karaoke Night at EPT Barcelona. The evening will feature live band karaoke, giving you the chance to take the stage and sing your heart out (even if you don’t speak the language!) and pick up some PokerStars goodies. Our Spanish-speaking Ambassadors will be in attendance, and who knows? Maybe they’ll grab the mic themselves. Plus, there will be local tapas, pitchers of sangria, and a lot of laughs. ¡Vamos!

Open to all players

Kick off your Barcelona trip in style with this official gathering to welcome players and their guests. The party takes place at the Blue Terrace of the Sofitel Hotel (about a minute’s stroll from where the poker is played) and is open to everyone–all you have to do is pick up a wristband at the Travel Desk. Then you can enjoy a couple of drinks and some food on us and make some moves on the dancefloor before you begin making moves at the tables. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow players, catch up with friends, and relax before play begins.

QUIZ NIGHT

How’s your general knowledge? We ask because if you’ve always dreamed of winning a coveted PokerStars Spadie but haven’t managed to bag one of the trophies in a poker tournament yet, this could be your best shot. Test your wits against fellow players and PokerStars Ambassadors while enjoying drinks and snacks on the house. It all goes down in the Players’ Lounge on August 19.

The fun continues in the Players’ Lounge with another edition of our very popular games nights. Whether it’s foosball, darts, or indeed poker being played, these evenings are always full of laughs and provide a great opportunity to unwind away from the tables. Plus there’s free food and drink on us, as well as PokerStars goodies to be won.

There are many reasons why Barcelona is considered by many the most fun stop on the European Poker Tour–none more obvious than the EPT Player Party. The venue for our EPT welcome drinks is the Blue Terrace at the Sofitel Hotel, just a short stroll from the casino, and promises a night to remember for everyone. With an open bar until late plus food and entertainment, it’s a great chance to let your hair down when you’re finished at the tables.

The penultimate night on the EPT Barcelona activities schedule is a fun one. Players and guests are invited to sample some delicious local wines at our wine and food pairing night, held in the Player Lounge. With plenty of incredible vineyards just a short drive from the city, this is your chance to experience the superb flavours and unique character of Catalonia’s celebrated wine region. Unwind after a day at the tables and enjoy a selection of reds, whites, and more in a relaxed, social setting.

Mental well-being is crucial to success in any field, and the world’s leading poker pros give this area almost as much importance as their study of solver outputs. In Barcelona, everyone is invited to get their day off to the best possible start as PokerStars is hosting daily wellness classes, featuring yoga, Pilates, and mindful yoga. The classes take place at Maritim by Claror, just a stone’s throw from the casino and the Sofitel, so it’s a great way to ensure players bring their A-games to the tables.
