WCOOP Games: Be a hero to your community while chasing WCOOP glory
Athletes train for years, nay, lifetimes, to take part in the Olympic Games. But thankfully, taking part in the WCOOP Games doesn’t require a career of sacrifice and hard work.
This is simply a fantastic opportunity for PokerStars players–particularly those with more modest bankrolls–to get win their way into some $109 WCOOP events, potentially win an additional $1K WCOOP Main Event ticket, provide big freerolls for their community, and have some fun, team-building frolics along the way.

WHAT ARE THE WCOOP GAMES?
The WCOOP Games are a fun contest running alongside the prestigious World Championship of Online Poker 2026.
There are four teams, each led by PokerStars Ambassadors. If you can win your way onto one of them, you’ll not only get to play a $109 buy-in WCOOP event, you’ll also represent your community in a battle for dominance.
The team captains are:
- Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg
- Marle “MarlzTV” Spragg
- Sebastian “peace&loove” Huber
- Del & Phil (PokerStars’ Brazilian commentators)
If you’d like to take part, there are just two things you need to do:
- Pick which PokerStars Ambassador you want to represent
- Win that Ambassador’s centroll
NOTE: You can only qualify for one team!
After winning, you’ll be automatically registered in the Face-Offs (a $109 event), where you’ll compete in a last-longer against another team (while also playing for the tournament’s regular cash prizes).
The winning team’s community will be treated to a $3,500 freeroll the following day.
Every member of the eventual winning team will bag themselves a $1K WCOOP Main Event ticket.
WCOOP GAMES TERMS AND CONDITIONS
CENTROLL DATES
Make a note of these dates because if you miss the centrolls, you can’t take part!
There will be four centroll tournaments–one for each community–on the following three dates:
- Sunday, August 23
- Sunday, August 30
- Sunday, September 6
Here are the kick-off times:
- Seb’s centroll starts at 14:00 ET
- Spraggy’s centroll starts at 15:00 ET
- Marle’s centroll starts at 15:00 ET
- Del & Phil’s centroll starts at 19:00 ET
FACE-OFFS
Only players who win a centroll and make it onto an Ambassador’s team qualify to play in the Face-Offs, which happen during regular $109 WCOOP events.
The three qualifiers on a team will go head-to-head against another Ambassador’s team of qualifiers in a $109 WCOOP, and the player who lasts longer in the tournament wins for their team. The winner’s community are then treated to a $3,500 freeroll the next day.

Event: WCOOP 23-M: $109 NLHE [Heads Up, Turbo, Progressive Total KO, Zoom], $30K Gtd
Date: Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 17:05 ET
Winning team gets a $3,500 freeroll for their community
Week 2
Teams: Team Marle vs Team Seb
Event: WCOOP 47-M: $109 NLHE [Progressive KO, Bounty Builder HR], $150K Gtd
Date: Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 11:30 ET
Winning team gets a $3,500 freeroll for their community
Week 3
The winners from both weeks go through to week 3:
Teams: Winner from W1 and W2
Event: WCOOP 81-M: $109 NLHE [Turbo], $75K Gtd
Date: Monday, September 21, 2026 at 15:05 ET
Winning team gets a $7,000 freeroll for their community
Each player in the winning team gets a $1K WCOOP Main Event ticket!
NOTE:
- Only qualifier performances count in the last longer. The Ambassadors may play, but their performance does not contribute.
- Players can only qualify for one team.
- Re-buys do not count for team performance, only results from the freeroll we offer.
- Players will automatically be registered in the Face-Off events, even if they don’t show up to play. In that case, their stack will be blinded out.
